Ever notice the best products seem to not need any advertising?

Have you ever noticed the best products and/or services, need little to no advertising or get it? Case-n-point: If I get a headache or my body hurts from too much snagging and dragging, I take Goody's Headache Powders,
yet the drug companies spend millions  on advertising and most anything else costs $10.00 or more. Goody's does the trick one powder packet has 1,000 mil. of pain reliever , yet cost $5.00. Then of course, there's spark plugs for your truck. So many choices, and so very expensive for most brands, yet since I discovered Accell Spark Plugs, the yellow jacket , keeps LexiBelle running at top notch, and requires less frequent replacing. The U groove electrode burns the fuel so completely, that there is little carbon build up. Yet you hardly ever hear of them being reviewed on PowerNation, nor otherwise advertised. Yet its been nearly 5 years since I changed my plugs, and LexiBelle even looking like crap outside, between the fenders that big block Chevy, get 15 to 20 mpg, and doesn't miss a beat. But because nobody is paying anybody to lie to pitch these brands you don't hear about them. While there is little advertising and marketing done, Highway Hooker Toewing, of Idaho and Wyoming, is going on 38 years, under one name still towing, under the same owner(me) and my crew. The best just doesn't need much if any kind of spotlight, the results sells the product and or service.

Okay so we didn't make it to Twin Saturday, but looks good for today

0So we didn't get to Twin Falls yesterday, but it looks like today will be good.
Rick went to Rock Springs to recreate and I did the gig of vegitate here kept warm and got a few household chores done, but it looks like we'll hit the trail later this morning or afternoon, as there's one helluva storm rolling in on Monday, so we gotta git-r-done.
Its a sad thing that the only good thing on TV anymore on Saturday nights, is the Disney Channel. Outside of that ain't nothing worth watching. Oh of course its not the entertainment industry , its the brokers that sell and distribute that content. Be it Cable companies, TV stations(watch that change after the FCC frequency repack auction) some carry the good stuff, some barely carry enough, and some who are in the take it or leave it because we are currently the only carrier of Cable in your town, think we as consumers or as I call it prosumers wont pay more to get some of our most popular channels and content back such as Spike TV and CMT to name a few. Like I said before there's one helluva shake up coming to TV from the FCC and of course HazzComm is here to pick up the pieces to rebuild a cable system that truly needs rebuilt.
Last, does it seem to you, since I mentioned the Disney Channel, that Alley of Austin and Alley, and Liv (Dover Cameron) of Liv and Maddie are going to be axed soon? The story lines are that way. Alley is headed for college, so is Liv. With Jessie( Debby Ryan) being axed in June of this year, Good Luck Charlie late 2014, due to a questionable story line, one that matches the same mindset of the LDS church that's making hundreds of current LDS members resign their church memberships, in the no same sex parents with children will be shown. This was a complicated subject for Disney to allow on their channel. Don't worry much of that content  in fact those shows including the Dukes are being repurchased and will air on the HazzardAyre Cable network that launches in July 2017.
Any myle, big day Sunday so I'm on my way to bed, but when doors close others open.

A reunion that's been long over due.

Today is a reunion that's been long overdue. Yep today Rick and I are rolling over to Tweaker Flatts Idaho and get LexiBelle back and on her way back home here where for about the first time in years she'll have to not only be my pride and joy, but feed and house me as well. While there's a ton and a half of work to be done to her to get her ready to go out and snag and drag all over southwestern Wyoming, there is a glimmer of sunlight through some very cloudy and dark clouds that has hung over my head for all too many years.
The sad in a way part of this, is that with LexiBelle here in Evansgone, this closes the door completely on Idaho as far as a place to reside. Now if I can just find me a honey , I'd have it all done, and my blood preasure along with many other things would ease up.
See ya'll on the radio tonight.

Fuel stop in Salt Lake City, just about back to Wyoming

Just about back to Wyoming. Had to reroute through Wells Nevada to I-80 through Utah via Tooele. Just unloading at Western Equipment now. Quite fortunate after delivering to Boise got this run with another piece of equipment to Salt Lake City. The weather has been very wet. But just about back to the village. Thank goodness for a laptop, and a McDonalds wifi. However, there will not be a show tonight I'm just too pooped. But will be on in the Afternoon on Friday. Hey duty calls.
More when I get back in the village.

Just about warmed up , now just getting air preasure

Just about have the old girl warmed up just waiting for the air to pump up. This is going to be tricky since moving equipment at night is kind of against the law so I might have to wait until day break. Called Smokey, to see if we can at least bring it to the yard in Evanston until morning.
I am determined , that makes this op a bit touchy, but if I have to wait, just have to wait. Course, none of my pilot cars have arrived yet so it might be day break until we get to go. It's our first Heavy haul from this area, hope all goes right. I determined the best route is through Montpelier Idaho over 30 to 15 to 86 to 84 then Boise. It's going to be a bitch to have to go to Evanston, then over 84 to 15 to 84 through Utah. So I'm taking some snooze time and prepping to get in gear here.
More in a few hours.

just warming up

Ever get to thinking that there are some people that know how to get in touch with Google and such programs as Blogger and those of us at their mercy? I'm beginning to. Seems I have to keep updating more and more of our blog pages and such every other week. It's getting to where, I'm half tempted no fully tempted to take a trip to gay bay California mainly Mountain View and have a serious conversation with the college boys and geeks at Google. In the meanwhile the Toew Bro's and the Knytes are busy getting the final pieces of our website put together , where WE control the settings and not Google or Facebook.
So got the tow call to go pick up a Cat in Garden City Utah, and haul it back to Boise. Seems as something under warrenty needs fixin , so its going to be a long day today to get that there and me back by radio show time tonight, all in a toewers life.

It ain’t going to be free for very long

HHLTN

Have you always thought that those tech giants like Google that runs Blogger and YouTube, are just frustrating you to the point, that you’ll lean towards a pay service or version? If so would you?

WordPress has already done that, amongst a bunch others. The only true way to make sure your whatever is exactly what you want it to be and nearly none geek proof is to own the fucking site to begin with. Which means YOURE going to have to pay much bucks just to get a site built, at least if you can find someone to build it for you.

Currently the Knytes the parent organization of both the Rode Knytes and Toew Bro’s is getting our streaming site built at least I think so. The rates for this have been all over the place. What I want to see is a website builder that’ll take payments, or at least get you out of the box and at least going for say 90 days to make sure the damn thing works to your satisfaction. Then pay the bill, tell me what you need to build it, look at the model of what I like build it like that, show me what I need to maintain it, on a daily basis and make the damn thing none-geek proof. Not all of us in this world were born with a keyboard. In our days writing was done with a piece of wood, as narrow as a soda straw, was filled with soft lead, you ground it up in a tiny contraption with a small crank, and once it had a point, the printing was done instantly on paper. To deliver it you put 10cent stamp on it, stuffed it in the big black box, Miss Tizzdale would drive by in her old Buick, pick it up and in about 3 to 4 days your person read it via U.S. Mail. I want our site that simplistic, yet entertaining yet informative. One section of the site will be dedicated to all you like me who brave the cold and heat, night or day, even on holidays or weekends to fetch cars, trucks, bikes and all from their disabled predicament. The title of all this section of the site is as you all know, already. I own that name. Okay then, getting back to my rant.

I reset a bunch of things to this blog , some are working well, some not so well. But I noticed too, can’t get Google’s great AdSense. Really Google? Shit I run the most blogs on Blogger and I can’t have an AdSense account? That truly bytes. There are many times, and I just might really do it, but go to the HQ of Google, go inside if they let me and grab one of those little geeky dickheads and say look you little fartknocker, it goes like this, fix it and I deserve and demand a AdSense account. Look Google, you may not like me, but I rant good about you, do me a kindness in return give me a few things. But I see this, just like the free classifieds on Yahoo, and MSN. They no longer exist. The pricks are so hungry and greedy, that you will not find any free things except maybe some old news and emails. Even then you only get what they let you see. Yes your emails as secure as you might think they are, are pre-screened, by MSN, Yahoo, etc.

Any mile, lines are running together here so I’m turning in, but I’ll fill you in on a bunch of good stuff coming up in 2014 and the challenges we as a group had in 2013.

Stumped Google search again

I love stumping search engines. They seem to know all, but know very little.

Now here's my stumper and I'd be willing to bet your next set of tow chains, that with 64 individual blogs on Blogger, I hold the record. Yet try looking up who has the record for the most blogs on Blogger, and you get some rather vague answers or search results.
It's not like I'm looking for financial rewards here although it'd be nice, but can't these little whipper snappers in California at Google, get their giant stepping in the right direction. Google is not alone here though. Both Yahoo, and Bing can't find anything if its not something that existed after about 1980 somewhere, except maybe music on YouTube. Example look up the ITA(Independent, Truckers,Association) no results. Look up RoadMasters, no results, look up I-80 Control CB Club, try looking up REACT , nope no results there either. Seems to me, the search engines and who ever get the information programmed in, need some older gray haired researchers, who remembers such things. More over I'd like to see search engines that give the real results. It's like I searched on Google, for the names and agent contact information on the gals doing the Wendy Burgers commercials to see if they can be booked for outside ad work. Results were from some Like page on Facebook, to just some site that plays the ads. I want to know the who, just like the ad that has that hottie jumping on the bed on that ad for American Eye Wear commercials. She looks like a gal I knew who worked with Suzi Mcarty's agency out of SLC. If so, I'd book her. See the deets on my other blog www.hazzardayre.blogspot.com Results a run on YouTube, nothing more.
So to answer my inquiry, who has the most blogs on Blogger? I'll say me. So hey Google give me a prize or a job.
Later Ya'll

This is the stuff that makes people shoot

Its days like today, that I see why some folks who are not too tightly wrapped, that go into schools and churches, with guns and just start to blast away.

Example, I go into church today out at the River, happy, until I run into this jerk who sorta can play drums and engineer a audio board, who acted like I was not even there. The furniture got more attention. Got into the sermon, at the end caught up with Kenny, then this buttwipe named Donny comes  up barking like a Mexican hairless, about starting something that did not need to be started. Bottom line, I mentioned that his Bible study was not organized too tight. Nor him. Okay I could have left off the him part but are any of these people wrapped very tight? I can say one maybe two are. Nancy the gal I love to death, as her adopted brother, and Bryan bacon one of the Pastors there at the River. the rest are running on stripped timing chains, or not on all cylinders.
But you go to a church, getting in with people assembling friends , then you are bombarded with insults and disparaging remarks. For those who might care, this would be just the kind of thing to make somebody take out an AR15 and just open fire. With the idea of kill em all here, let God sort it out. As for me I don't really care, next week they're going to go out on the town to preach under the stealth cover of being helpful, if you get approached by a member of the River Fellowship to do anything, shut the door and sick the dogs on them like you do Mormon missionaries. At least the LDS missionaries are open about it.
To end the weekend, is I forgive Nancy for something her roomy said earlier. I thought it was coming from the whole clan. But the one who said it, should ought come over buy a can of skoal for me and say she's sorry in person.
As for the River, I'm done there.

NASCAR didn’t think of Mother Nature

PHOOTENOTES HEADERA HOOKER TOW BLOG HEADER_thumb

Well here I am, in Daytona beach Florida, anticipating the big race Sunday. Except as it looks right now the big dig , might be scrubbed and the trip all for not. Why, Mother nature is looking to rain on the race Sunday, and if that happens, NASCAR will postpone the race. But I did have fun any way.

I got the chance to peruse the many up beat radio stations here in the greater Miami, area. I will say what they are airing here makes things in our area in the Mountain West look Quakerish by comparison. Or at least Victorian. As it would seem the more open minded less religious restricted radio here far exceeds that of Idaho or Utah. Question is, WHY? I wanted to call my girls in Idaho several times but the 4-1/2 hour time differential between here at Florida and Idaho, means when I wake here, its nearly midnight or so there.

So Mello-Yello, call me as soon as possible, have things I need done there.

Okay then…………….

Few people consider the supporting cast when it comes to major events.

Like if a major music mogul plays a gig, the roadies that have to build the set, the guys that mix the music and all, are not spoken of. In the case of events like they Daytona 500, few think of those who clean up the mess on the track during the race during those wrecks that brings out the caution.

Those tow trucks both usual boom and hooks as well as carriers. Which was the way I got here. The Professional Wrecker Operators of Florida, through Miller Industries(Holmes) sent out a blurb several months ago asking for contestants for a nationwide search of towing services, still under the same owners under the same business name for more than 39 years to enter. I did, and thus here I am. If things go according to plan and rain don’t squash the race, you’ll see me out there snagging and dragging the wrecked cars at the 500.

Until L8R ya’ll
